Agra: Ahead of the Hero women's Indian Open tournament from November 11 to 13, some of the top foreign golfers visited the Taj Mahal yesterday.

The $400,000 event, will see 114 top professionals from around the globe fighting for the top spot at the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurgaon.

The golfers were ecstatic to see one of the seven wonders of the world and were in awe of the incredible architecture and the rich heritage of the Mughal era monument. The Hero Indian Open, will see the likes of defending champion Emily Kristine Pedersen, 2014 Indian Open winner Gwladys Nocera, Beth Allen and 2016 Ladies Scottish Open winner Isabelle Boineau among others.

The Indian challenge will be spearheaded by Olympian Aditi Ashok and will include the likes of Vani Kapoor and Sharmila Nicollet.
