Tiger Woods has revealed a new incentive as he tries to climb back to the top -- his children want to see him on television.
The former world No 1 fell outside the top 50 last season, but is now up to 18th after finishing third, first and third in his last three tournaments.
Woods had two children before he and Swede Elin Nordegren were divorced in 2010 following his sex scandal. Daughter Sam will be five in June, while son Charlie is three tomorrow.
"My kids are of an age where they want to see Dad on TV," said Woods at Pebble Beach, where he is practising for the start of the AT&T National Pro-am.
He has told them it will happen more the better he plays and they have told him to go do it then. "Golf is more enjoyable than it used to be," he added.
