New York: Serbian tennis ace Ana Ivanovic has found a new way to ease the competitive stress that tends to build up during big tournaments and particularly before matches.

"I do yoga and meditation," she tells Vogue.

The 28-year-old former World No 1 says that though she's relatively new to the ancient practice of yoga, it's already working for her.

"I'm still a beginner, so I like to take my time with it. I'm not very flexible, so it helps me to improve that. At the end of each session, comes five to 10 minutes of meditation to ease competitive pressure," she says on the sidelines of the US Open. Ivanovic, who recently married German footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger, also reveals that she never wears make up for her matches.

"I don't wear it (make-up). I don't want to worry that my mascara is running. I'm very lucky to get good genes from my mom," she says.
