Moments after mixed martial arts fighter and actress Ronda Rousey said yesterday that she is planning to retire from fighting soon, Ultimate Fighting Championship boss Dana White has revealed that she is keen to focus on a career in the movies.
The 29-year-old star, who has acted in hit films like Furious 7, The Expendables 3 and Entourage said that though she is feeling positive about the training for her upcoming bouts, they will be among her last few fights. "I'm wrapping it up.
This is definitely one of my last fights. Everyone better watch! The show isn't gonna be around forever. I feel like in super ninja good mode. It's the build-up that's more tiring. If it (the fight) just happened right now, I wouldn't be nervous at all. It's the waiting," Rousey told Female First.
To this, White told TMZ.com: "Ronda's made a lot of money and accomplished what she set out to do. You get to a point, especially in this business, when you have to start looking at things. She loves acting and She's good at it too, and if she dedicates herself to it, she'll be even better at it."
