Golfer Johnson’s fiancee Gretzky is legally blind

American golfer Dustin Johnson's fiancee Paulina Gretzky has revealed how she struggles with blindness. In the podcast hosted by Bravo stars Austen Kroll and Craig Conover, Gretzky recently claimed she can only see in one out of 10 blinks.

Elaborating on her eyesight issue, Gretzky said: "Well, I'm legally blind. So, I'm not a candidate for Lasik [corrective eye surgery]. One out of 10 blinks I can see; it's very, very frustrating."

The daughter of ice hockey legend Wayne Gretzky explained that since she does not greet people, they think she is mean. But the reason for doing so is her blindness. "A lot of people think I'm mean because I'm not saying ‘hi' to them. Truly, I can't see your face. It's not an excuse, I really can't see you," she said. Gretzky was seen at Whistling Straits celebrating with hubby-to-be after United States' record-breaking 19-9 victory over Europe in Ryder Cup last month.

Johnson and Gretzky have been dating since 2013 and will finally tie the knot at Blackberry Farms in Tennessee next year.
