Max Verstappen maintained his and Red Bull's Formula One domination on Friday when he completed a âdouble top' in free practice at this weekend's Mexico Grand Prix.

The newly-crowned three-time world champion, who was quickest in the opening session, topped FP2 with a best lap in one minute and 18.686 seconds to outpace nearest rival Lando Norris of McLaren by 0.119 seconds.
In deteriorating conditions in front of a boisterous and partisan crowd, rooting for his teammate Sergio Perez, Verstappen stayed ahead of the pack with a determined performance, beating Williams Alex Albon by 0.095 in FP1.
