India's Sumit Nagal, who won a historic first round at the Australian Open here on Tuesday, lost to China's Juncheng Shang in Round 2.

Interestingly, Nagal began the match well, winning the first set, but was eventually beaten 6-2, 3-6, 5-7, 4-6 in two hours and 50 minutes.
