Simone Biles
American gymnastics great Simone Biles wants her younger self to be less stubborn and be more cheerful. Biles, 24, who is preparing for her second Olympics next month, was speaking in an interview with Health magazine.
When asked what she would have done had she had to live through her younger days again, Biles said: "To not be so stubborn and to be a little bit happier - to know that it's not over just because something happens in one day. You can keep pushing."
The five-time world champion also admitted visiting sports psychologist regularly to attain a positive mindset. "For a while, I saw a psychologist once every two weeks. That helped me get in tune with myself so that I felt more comfortable and less anxious," Biles said.
Biles, who recently secured her seventh US Gymnastics Championship title, said she likes to unwind by hanging out with her boyfriend [footballer Jonathan Owens] by the pool, or have her family come over.
