The newlywed donned a traditional ivory and red lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for her wedding
Her bridal ensemble is Abu Sandeep's exquisite interpretation of 'Panetar' - The Gujarati tradition of brides wearing red and white on their big day, styled most thoughtfully by Rhea Kapoor
The ivory Zardozi cut-work ghagra is an innovative ensemble that merges traditional patterns with details of western silhouettes
Consisting of a trailing ghagra layered with a second detachable trail, a 5meter head veil and a tissue shoulder dupatta, the outfit was created by 25 of the most gifted kaarigars at Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
The ghagra sparkles with three borders of red, which is also the colour of lasting love. Its workmanship is the finest amalgamation of Naqshi, Saadi and Zardozi symmetrically hand-embroidered in intricate floral booties that are lavishly decorated with stones, sequins, tamba tikkis and a touch of red Resham
The head veil has impossibly delicate jaali work while the detachable trail is a Zardozi marvel of 80 inches.
The red shoulder dupatta uplifts the silhouette with its maximal drama. Abu Sandeep have envisioned it intensely in every angle and placement to create the most dazzling sight
While the back of the dupatta is reminiscent of a cape, the front adapts elegantly to the many gracious movements of the bride
Radhika opted for a striking sindoori red ensemble designed by Manish Malhotra for the emotional departure ceremony or the vidaai ceremony
Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Radhika's vidai look featured a bespoke couture lehenga adorned with intricate details and rich textiles
The outfit included a backless blouse intricately embellished with real gold Karchobi work, reminiscent of traditional Gujarati artistry
The brocade silk lehenga skirt, adorned with Banarasi brocade print in sunset hues, exuded timeless elegance and cultural homage.
Completing her ensemble, Radhika draped a Banarasi silk dupatta with real gold embroidery and Resham work over her shoulder, paired with a veil cascading into a dramatic train
