<p>Pratik is as passionate about dancing as he is about acting. For the last two days, the actor has been rehearsing (with Vidya Malavade also a trained dancer) in preparation for his performance at the International Dance Day (April 29) celebrations in the city. <br /><br />  <table style="width: 413px; height: 30px" bordercolor="black" cellpadding="2" bgcolor="black" border="1">  <tbody>  <tr>  <td><img alt="" src="/imagedata/2010/apr/Pratik-Vidya.jpg" border="0" /></td></tr>  <tr>  <td>  <p align="center"><span style="font-size: 8pt; color: white"><strong>Pratik rehearsing his moves with Vidya Malavade for a International Dance Day performance</strong></span></p></td></tr></tbody></table><br />He has been learning international dance forms like the samba, fox trot, waltz and the cha cha from choreographer Sandip Soparrkar.<br /><br />Says Sandip, "Pratik started off with the cha cha but later evinced great interest in learning other forms. When he began, I would give him a 5/10 for his performances. But now he has improved and with every show he gets better and betteru00a0-- like any good artiste."<br /><br />He maintains, "He is a hard worker and he has been rehearsing extremely hard for the show."<br />Adds Vidya, "Pratik is passionate about dancing. I was shocked to know the knowledge he has about dance. <br /><br />We would bump into each other at our dance classes, but as we were in different batches so never got a chance to dance together. So I was bit apprehensive initially; but now we are like two kids in a candy store trying out different steps and figuring out what looks best." </p>
