Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reportedly extended his best wishes to filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra for his first Hollywood outing 'Broken Horses'.

Chopra wanted to show the film to Modi before the film's April 10 release which could not be fixed.
Modi, however, sent a message to Chopra thanking him for his invitation and wishing the film well, the filmmaker's spokesperson said.

Besides directing and producing the film, Chopra, 62, has also co-written it with Abhijat Joshi.
Set in the shadows of US-Mexico border gang wars, 'Broken Horses' is a thriller about bonds of brotherhood, laws of loyalty and futility of violence.
Its principal cast features Vincent D'Onofrio, Anton Yelchin, Chris Marquette and Maria Valverde.
