Mumbai: Traffic in parts of city, motorists complain of jams

Several areas of Mumbai witnessed traffic jams on late Thursday evening amid moderate rains. Motorists complaint to the Mumbai Traffic police of bottleneck traffic in some parts of the city.


Some motorists even took to twitter and complained about traffic issues in Sakinaka, Andheri and even Kurla.


A twitter user informed the Mumbai Traffic Police at 10:15pm, he wrote, "Crazy traffic on Saki Vihar around Sakinaka junction. JVLR was also bad."


The police in response to the tweet wrote, "we have informed the traffic police branch."

Another twitter user wrote to the police at 10pm, "Kindly look into this traffic situation at Kurla Market Road near Equinox Corporate Park and Kurla Railway Station Road since the congestion has resulted in non-moving traffic." 

The police responded, "we have intimated your concern to Kurla traffic branch for necessary action."

A tweeter user wrote at 9:28 pm, "Chock full of traffic and not a single traffic officer to be seen nearby. People getting out of their cars to direct traffic. This is right behind our International Airport."

The police in response wrote, "We have informed Sahar Traffic Division of the necessary action."
