Rajouri didn't have a devil's den, until now. Busy in black and red, it screams sexy. The bar's bustling, the music's Bollywood, the crowd the cr me de la cr me of West Delhi, and well, some from the South, too, as unbelievable as that may seem. "Et al is the only proper lounge bar in West Delhi," explains Ankit, the MD, elaborating on their plans of spreading wings to Khan Market, Vasant Vihar and even Indore soon.u00a0u00a0

Going by their score, we don't really mind that. The interiors are sharp and sensuous, the drinks smooth and the service smart. Our classic margarita quite lived up to its name, and the achari paneer tikka and spicy chicken tikka that accompanied it were as piquant as fresh. Bring on the long island iced tea, neat and naughty with its fun signature flavour.

And the tandoori fish tikka, of course, which defeats its other cousins by a mighty margin. The DJ spins his stuff while we do, in our heads, only to be astounded by an Atom Bomb soon after. No, no doom, it's another one of their power concoctions. Only for the brave hearted. The vegetable nachos, meanwhile, will help at the munch. Crackling, with a creamy sour sauce. The tang, you'll take home.

We particularly liked the place's name. Short, smart, sweet. "Oh, that was my uncle's idea," Ankit breaks into a smile, going on about a property-related incident that led to the spark. "It's all about celebrating company, you see." And so, we clinked glasses over a shampoou00a0-- blend of Bourbon whiskey, Jack Daniel's and fresh cream for that fantastic froth. A friend tried the tomato soup, and slurped happy. Next up was methi mutter malai with steamed rice, which, we must say, was an impressive combo, considering not many bar-lounges care about the mains.

No space for dessert called for a quick dance, and you're most likely to find ample company at all times. The spirit that surrounds the place is young; the bodies, agile and active. Chuck the sweet, the haunt's tantalisingly toxic.
