Anna Hazare, during his visit to the city yesterday, states he's not confusing the masses by distancing himself from Kejriwal's decision of launching political party, says people are smart enough to differentiate between right and wrong
During his visit to the city yesterday, social activist and anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare admitted to differences with Arvind Kejriwal and other members of the India Against Corruption (IAC) on various issues.

“While some consider me sane, others call me mad. However, the fact this that the people of this country are smart enough to differentiate between the right and the wrong,” said 75-year old Hazare reiterating that he would not launch a political party to fight corruption.

Hazare added that he’s not confusing people by not favouring Arvind Kejriwal’s decision of launching a political party. “I have cleared my stand in the very beginning. I’ll neither form a party, nor contest elections. However, I’ll not oppose Kejriwal. He’s free to form a party. Although our path is different, out ultimate goal is same,” he said.

When asked if he’ll support candidates fielded by Kejriwal’s party, Hazare said, “I will always support people who have a clean background. But I will not support each and every candidate; others are free to support every contender they feel is right.”
When enquired about his further course of action, he said, “I’m here to discuss the same with like-minded people. I have a meeting here and then two more meetings lined up New Delhi. I wanted to be very clear of the path I want to take in the near future.” He added it always good to take suggestions from experienced people.
