After winning the toss, Gujarat Titans elected to bowl first. Captain Sanju Samson and in-form batsman Riyan Parag played stunning knocks to help Rajasthan reach a respectable total of 196 runs. Samson scored an unbeaten 68 runs and Parag on the other hand, scored 76 runs in 48 deliveries

Having to chase 197 runs, GT openers Sai Sudharsan and captain Shubman Gill put on a prolific show with the bat. Sai smashed 35 runs and Gill played a match-winning knock of 72 runs before getting dismissed in Yuzvendra Chahal's over
After their dismissals, RR pacer Kuldeep Sen bamboozled GT's batting lineup. He registered three wickets for 41 runs in four overs
Despite leaving the hopes of winning the match, Rashid Khan came out of the syllabus for Rajasthan. Rashid's 24-run knock which included 4 fours helped the visitors defeat RR by three wickets. He also received the "Player of the Match" award for his spectacular all-round display
