London: Former Cameroon international Alex Song and Nigeria winger Victor Moses have joined West Ham United on season-long loan deals, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday. Former Arsenal midfielder Song, who announced his international retirement earlier this year, spent last season on loan at West Ham from Barcelona, making 31 appearances in all competitions.

"It has just been confirmed. Alex Song has signed a season-long loan deal to join West Ham," West Ham co-owner David Gold wrote on Twitter. "Welcome back Alex." Song, 27, told the West Ham website: "I am very happy. When I left, I didn't know I would come back here. It was not easy, but at the end of the day, the most important thing is I'm here now and I'm very happy. "I feel at home, everything feels at home, for my family too, they're set up very well here.
My kids are playing for West Ham academy." Moses, 24, arrives on loan from Premier League champions Chelsea. The powerful wide player joined Chelsea from Wigan Athletic in August 2012, but has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Liverpool and Stoke City. Soon after announcing the Song and Moses loan swoops, West Ham confirmed the signing of Croatia striker Nikica Jelavic from Championship side Hull for an undisclosed fee.
The 30-year-old agreed a two-year contract with the east Londoners and will link up again with his former Croatia manager Slaven Bilic. Former Everton star Jelavic returns to the top tier after scoring eight goals in Hull's relegation from the Premier League last season. "I've played for Slaven before for the Croatia national team and he is a great manager and a great man," he told West Ham TV.
"I am really happy and delighted to be working with him and all his staff again." A busy transfer deadline day at Upton Park also saw Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio, 24, sign a four-year contract for a fee reported to be around £7 million ($10 million). "I'm buzzing to be at a massive club," Antonio told West Ham TV. "I've always been around London and I came to a couple of games here when I was younger.
"I've worked my way from non-league and finally got to the Premier League to show what I can do." Hammers boss Bilic, who took over from Sam Allardyce in the close-season, has carried out a major overhaul of his squad and his four deadline day deals took the number of new signings since his arrival to 11. His seven earlier recruits were goalkeeper Darren Randolph, defenders Angelo Ogbonna and Carl Jenkinson and midfielders Pedro Obiang, Dimitri Payet, Manuel Lanzini and George Dobson.
