Indian weightlifters earn two quota places for Olympics

Indian weightlifters grabbed one quota place each for men and women for the 2012 Olympic Games to be held in London.

Indians’ good show in the Senior Asian Championships that concluded at Pyeongtaek, South Korea, yesterday earned them the berths.

Women lifters gathered 93 points and finished fourth while men’s team accumulated 134 points to finish fifth.u00a0
