Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga reached his first final of the season as he defeated Ivan Ljubicic 6-4, 7-6 (8/6) at the ATP Rotterdam Open on Saturday.
Tsonga, seeded eighth, will play for the sixth title of his career and first since October, 2009, when he won in Tokyo. He faces the winner from Saturday's second semi-final between holder Robin Soderling and Serb Viktor Troicki.
Soderling leads Tsonga 3-0 while Troicki stands 3-1 against the burly Frenchman ranked 18th.
Tsonga was playing his semi-final after a three-day pause after going through his quarter-final uncontested when Tomas Berdych withdrew with illness. Tsonga levelled his record with Ljubicic at two wins apiece after beating the Croatian at the Australian Open two years ago.
