As widely anticipated, the Pesi Shroff-trained Parisian completed a mere formality when she bagged the C N Wadia Gold Cup (Gr 2), the feature event of Sunday's seven-race card at Mahalaxmi.

The six-year-old bay mare by Champs Elysees out of Anywaysmile who, only last month, had travelled to Kolkata and won the Indian Champion Cup (Gr 1) & the Queen Elizabeth II Cup (Gr 3), thus continued her winning spree at her home center. Parisian raced in the silks of Vijay Shirke, and was ridden to victory by jockey P S Chouhan. She decisively defeated Caprisca (S Antony Raj up) and Truly Epic (C S Jodha up), both saddled by veteran trainer Imtiaz Sait, to justify the tag of the shortest priced favourite on the Sunday card.
Trainer Sait, whose horses had no answer to Parisian in the feature event, however, had earlier led in a winner in Flying Visit, with whom jockey S Antony Raj won the supporting event of the card, the R N Kanga Trophy for class I horses. Nothing To Worry, who had recently moved to trainer Vinesh's yard after his brother Vishal Gaikwad put in his license, authoritatively won the I C Nagree Trophy for class III horses, beating Sky Fall whom he spared 2.75 lengths.
Nothing To Worry was ridden to victory by jockey Bhawani Singh, who emerged as the only professional to win more than once on Sunday, as he had earlier won the Jayramdas Patel Gold Trophy, a ten-furlong affair for class IV horses, astride fiendless Ladila. The long shot Ladila was saddled by Karthik Ganapathy.
