An engineer by profession, a social media influencer, and a fitness and fashion blogger, Baishali has been successfully donning multiple hats seamlessly. She is elated and humbled to have won the prestigious Mrs. India Telangana pageant and is now gearing up to represent the state in the national Mrs. India platform. Hailing from the temple city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha and married to a Bengali, she has been living in Hyderabad for the last five years.
Baishali has a master's in mechanical engineering from IIT Gandhinagar and has interned with ISRO during her research. She has a paper publication with IEEE and represented India with her dissertation at an international conference held at Istanbul, Turkey. She is currently a corporate executive working at an MNC. Baishali has won many awards in her professional career - her most distinguished one is the "Young Engineer of the Year" award.
Apart from donning her corporate hat, she actively indulges in her interests - fitness, fashion, and sustainable living. She has been working out regularly for more than 7 years now and has been able to influence many of her friends, family members to adopt a fitter lifestyle. She vouches that working out not only helps her stay in her best shape, but also a much happier state of mind. She likes to experiment and adapt to new fashion trends and preaches self-love. Baishali creates content on social media on fitness, fashion and sustainable living and aims to create a community that is fitter and more Earth conscious.
"I believe that Mother Earth deserves more love and care from human beings" - her passion for a greener lifestyle is evident when she talks about sustainability. Baishali has inculcated several sustainable habits in her daily household routine. Her ramp-walk in the finals of the pageant turned many heads when she took to the ramp with a saree fused with a sports bra, and a plant in hand with a message to save Mother Earth.
She decided to participate in the prestigious Mrs. India Telangana platform, hoping to reach a larger audience and create a greater impact. Led by the inspirational Mrs. Mamta Trivedi, what sets this pageant apart from others is that it doesn't look just for models, but role models. After undergoing multiple rounds of auditions and evaluations, Baishali was crowned as the winner of Mrs. India Telangana 2021 and was also awarded the titles of Mrs. Popular and Mrs. Outstanding.
"A fitter and greener lifestyle should be the mantra of every woman" - says Baishali. After emerging as the state champion, Baishali is now getting ready to represent Telangana in the coveted Mrs. India platform. She wants to extend her outreach by interacting with students and normalize fitness and sustainable living from an early age. She is also keen to build associations with communities that work on low waste initiatives.
