Dr. Shashank Kharabanda honored with Corona Warrior Award 2022

General A.B Shivane (PVSM, AVSM, VSM) while presenting Corona Warrior Award to Dr. Shashank Kharabanda (CEO of AngelLife Private Limited, A health care solutions company) other doctors & social workers the prestigious Corona Warrior Award 2022 for their selfless efforts & sacrifices during the last two years of the Covid Pandemic. It was a very sweet and sour occasion as on one side there was a felicitation ceremony and awards were being presented to the gallant corona warriors; on the other side it was time to remember the Covid martyred doctors who lost their lives while treating and trying to save their patients lives during the dreaded Covid waves.
For Dr. Shashank Kharabanda, himself a Covid survivor; while controlling his emotions said "For me it's a day to remember for the rest of my life, I'm humbled, honored and extremely grateful to the eminent juries for selecting me for this award and I thank God for giving me the strength, guidance, blessings and putting me a position where I could help save lives; for what we call Covid waves were more like Covid Tsunami's as we never saw them coming so quickly and snatching the lives of people we loved from our lives but thanks to the devotion of all the healthcare workers especially the nurses, ambulance drivers, janitors we won this war against Covid". Dr. Shashank Kharabanda dedicated his award to his parents Shri Himanshu Kharabanda, Smt. Ranjana Kharabanda, his sister Ms. Shefali Mian who has been his strength & guiding angels and to the families who lost their loved once during the pandemic.
The ceremony was graced by eminent juries, Indian personalities & Army personnel: Hon. Retd. Lt. General A.B Shivane (PVSM, AVSM, VSM), Hon. Retd. Maithili Sharan Gupt(IPS, Former DGP & Director of Crime Free India), Hon. Retd. Maj. Gen. Rajan Kochhar (VSM, Advisory Council Member at PCRI) & Hon. Retd. Dr Naveen Bhatnagar, (IPS & Founder of the Indian National Disaster Rescue Force).
The corona warrior Award was also presented to Dr. Pankaj Gupta (Prominent Cardiologist), Dr. Shaswat Srivastava (Critical Care Specialist), Dr. Piyush Dixit (Renowned Physician), Smt Manu Gupta (Social worker & Director of MVM Motors), Smt. Shweta Srivastava (Social Worker and Director of Operations at Cheshtha - A not-for-profit NGO), Ms. Shivangi Agarwal (Social Worker & Entrepreneur) among others. The award ceremony took place at Prayagraj on the 10th of April 2022.
