During the event she felicitated the women with flowers and a token of appreciation towards the determination, courage and grit that they have shown towards upbringing their families despite the hardships. The festive occasion was a perfect moment to bring cheer to the lives of the women who have worked tirelessly without any support to educate their children and lead a dignified life.
Nidarshana Gowani says, "Women have always been the strongest pillar of the family. The determination and courage that they have is unmatched. The widows of the Army officers were a true source of inspiration. Despite the turmoil and losing their constant support, they have stood their ground, held their heads high and lived a dignified life in the society. At the same time, they have also provided quality education to their children who are today standing on their feet. I feel truly honored and blessed to have spent the time with them and being able to bring a smile on their faces. My NGO, Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust works actively towards reaching out to the less privileged sections of the society".
During the event, Nidarshana Gowani was deeply touched by the life of a widow whose husband had been part of the India Pakistan War. She lost her husband during the war and yet managed to educate her children, give them a dignified life and carry on the legacy by sending her son to the Army. Each woman who had gathered during the event, had heart wrenching incidents to share which give goosebumps. They have lived their life and are a motivation for each one of us.
Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust has been working zealously by bringing a change in the society. They truly follow their motto - "Rising by lifting others". The society today needs more such programs and initiatives which works towards recalling, protecting and encouraging all the sections of the society.
