It was indeed a moment of pride for her. Ms Kandhari's spiritual art is going global and her artwork would be displayed in The Bricklane Gallery, London in May 2022. This self-taught painter's first exhibition was held at the Taj art Gallary, Mumbai in January 2021. After having turned a painter, in a short span of just two years, Ms Kandhari has received two awards for her outstanding work so far. Here she shares how wonderful she feels after having received the award and what are her future goals.
Having moved to tears Ms Kandhari expressed her gratitude to the entire team of Mid Day. "I have a special liking for Mid-Day and I never knew one day I would be honored by my favorite publication for my contribution in the field of Art and Painting. At the outset, I must thank Mid-Day, all my clients and all the art lovers of the world for motivating me. Frankly when I was with Governor, holding award in my hands, for a second I wondered whether I should pinch myself to check if it was a reality and not a dream since it actually was a dream came true moment for me. I have always been working without any expectations. Well, this award will always be a reminder for me to grow and surely motivate me throughout, to bring the best out of me.
"I am basically from Agra. My parents believe in Vastu a lot and that's how I got introduced to our ancient Science. I learnt Vastu, Healing and Reiki during college days. In academics, I cleared my CA inter-examination, came to Mumbai post marriage and joined my husband's business; Vinfab Engineering Pvt. Ltd. I am Executive Director there. Almost a decade later, during Lockdown, I got some leisure time for myself. I just took a canvas and brush, created a beautiful abstract artwork. My spiritual knowledge and intuitive power put together helped me attract maximum amount of energy in my house. All of us gained mental peace as well as professional growth. I started enjoying my work and created many such paintings to solve other people's problems. As I started getting good response from everybody, the demand for Vastu complaint paintings went up and now I am booked by my clients for next four months. Corporate clients benefit in terms of growth. Overall my artwork can bring in more positivity and abundance."
Ms Kandhari believes in donating part of her income for a good cause. She has always been helping underprivileged students financially and in future too, her dream is to provide them with maximum educational facilities. She is a Patron Member of Fellowship of Physically Handicapped (FPH). "I am the only professional who can say professionally and personally, my goal is to heal people," Ms Kandhari expressed with a lovely smile on her face.
