What's special about this collection?
The collection has three lines. The first line is titled Ethnic Elegance', which has sarees designed with a difference and accessories like belts being used along with them. It is for modern urban women. The second line consisted of short mid-length dresses which are trendy and can be worn by anybody. The third line called Midnight Symphony has evening gowns.

This collection has a splash of colour. It is indeed very vibrant with royal blue, emerald green, lemon yellow, etc.u00a0 The designs are soft in nature.
I used black and then white as the colour palette for earlier collections, so for a change the BFW collection had many colours.
Where do you draw your inspiration for your clothes?
I draw inspiration from anything beautiful in nature that captures my imagination. It does not necessary have to be only people; it can be non-living things too. It is the execution of the theme in your design that is important.
And your celeb clientele?
Most of them are actors and socialites. Of course, they are all celebrities.
What do you have to say about Bangalore Fashion Week?
Iu00a0am glad Bangalore took the initiative and created its very own fashion week. It's only going to be bigger and better from here. It was a successful and great show.
Would you describe Bangalore as a fashion destination?
It is definitely a very fashionable city. People here are very trendy. They are open to change and love to try new styles. BFW acts as a catalyst to take Bangalore's fashion scene to greater heights. We have arrived!
You had actors Aindrita Ray and Diganth as the showstoppers for Bangalore Fashion Week. Why did you choose them?
They are good friends of mine. They look stunning and have a good chemistry in reel life. They also have acted together in Kannada films. These were the reasons to have them as my showstoppers.
Was Bangalore Fashion Week all about entertainment?
Yes, it was entertainment. This was the first Bangalore Fashion Week, so there were some drawbacks. We cannot expect 100 per cent perfection. The response from the crowd was superb.u00a0 What matter is whether people loved your designs or not. Apart from entertainment there was some business taking place. Bangalore Fashion Week also saw many gen-next designers from across India showcasing their collection for the first time.
Describe Bangalore Fashion Week in one word.
Entertaining!
