Kanden Kadhalai producer Dhananjayan says that a film will do well if the story's good and he's sure his new film fits the bill
Kanden Kadhalai, a remake of Jab We Met, is ready for release in September.
With Bharath and Tamannah in the lead, director Kannan has tweaked the script to suit his Tamil audience.
The film followed a tight pre-production schedule and was completed in record time. In fact, even the producer presented the crew with bouquet in appreciation on the last day of shooting.

Working it out
Producer Dhananjayan said, "Post-production work is over and we are planning to releaseu00a0 in the second week of September but that depends on the schedule of other films. We don't want Kanden Kadhalai to clash with any other movie. We have worked for this movie for more than a year and waiting for a week is not at all a problem."
Movies released in the last few months have not done too well given the industry's period of low. Add to that the swine flu scare and where does Dhananjayan see the movie going? "There is no need to compare the film with other films," he says. "People will watch any film that has good content and as producers, it's our responsibility to give good films. I am confident that the film will go down well with the audiences. We have shot at many locations and both Bharath and Tamannah have done a great job you can see it on screen."
What about promoting the film given that Bollywood has taken to promoting every single film in a big way? "We have already started our promotion. We plan to take the cast to all three states and we will promote it in a big way. We are confident about the product and are sure it will do well. We have given Bharath an entirely different look."
The film is shot in exotic locations in and around Dindukal, Theni and Kambam and the videography is said to be a treat for the audiences.u00a0
