Older people can diversify and expand their skill set to make them more valuable to the company to avoid the possibility of a layoff. They can also invest in training programmes to improve their knowledge in areas that have high demand in the industry. If you have been in your job for a few years, there is a possibility that you may have not looked at your resume, commonly known as Curriculum Vitae (CV), for a long time.
