No one understands women's empowerment better than a woman. That's the philosophy behind designer boutique Creo's clearance sale, called Bargain Shopping for a Cause. The proceeds from the weekend sale will go towards helping free women and children from brothels in the city.
Creo has tied up with NGO, Apne Aap Women's Collective (AAWC) for the initiative. Every paisa you pay will go to the AAWC fund that has been helping women in prostitution over the past decade. Ami Javeri, Founder, Creo says, "We feel it's time to give back to society."
Creo's entire collection of Indian and international designer wear will be up for grabs at throwaway prices. The collection includes dresses, tops and accessories including bags, shoes and costume jewellery.
If there were ever a better time to splurge guilt-free, this would be it.
