Everything Begins with a Dream: Choreographer Sahil Khan Dyer

A famous Hip-Hop dancer/choreographer who was raised in a middle-class family in Jalore, Rajasthan, Sahil began dancing at the age of 8 and began instructing at the age of twelve.

The difficult phase of life

His father was an auto-rickshaw driver who struggled to make ends meets and able to provide food "I had a lot of financial troubles; I didn't have enough money for my outfits, competition entrance fees, or travel money to get to the competitions," he explained. "For my auditions, I would borrow nice dresses from friends and family." Sahil overcame several obstacles as he grew up to reach where he is now.

Sahil has collaborated with a variety of artists on reality shows, films, and other projects. He has choreographed several dances for some of Bollywood's most well-known actors and actresses.

Motivation

"My parents and Swati maa," he answered in an interview when asked who inspires him. Throughout it all, my friends and family have been at my side. They never stopped believing in me, and it is because of them that I am where I am today."

"I failed approximately 170 competitions before I won my first," he told about his battle. "My support system kept me going after every setback, and it was because of them that I have never given up. I believe that ‘Garib paida hona gunah nahi hai Garib marna gunah hai', and ‘Yeh Samay hai Beet Hi Jayega Achaa Ho Ya Buraa',

These 2 lines have always helped me get through difficult times."

"I win my first competition in my life at the district level, and then I just began winning shows until I had won 450! In 11 years, I've won at the local, state, national, and international levels! Between the years 2010 and 2021"

Sahil's journey is a source of inspiration for all. He teaches the mantra "never give up on your dreams." Sahil's optimistic attitude and strong motivation have helped him win numerous awards for his dance talent. He now has thousands of followers on social media as a social media influencer.

Dreams

When asked about his dreams, he said that he wants to build the biggest dance studio and talent management firm. He wants to assist as many people as possible who are pursuing similar goals.
