Rajveer Mehta and Arav Hak

Studying at the American School of Bombay, two teenagers Rajveer Mehta and Arav Hak have taken innovation and hard work to another level. On one hand where students of their age engage in activities like playing or dancing, Rajveer and Arav have used their innovativeness to raise financial aid for those afflicted by cancer in the territory of Kashmir. Millennials making the best of their time and energy, Mehta and Hak are two bright stars who have raised the bat of excellence. Working together with the Nargis Dutt Foundation, the two have consistently worked towards the cause of providing cancer treatment kits to the patients diagnosed with the disease. With such a selfless spirit in their hearts and determination pouring out of their mind, Rajveer and Arav are simply prodigies who are working to bring a positive change in the society. At a young age of 12 years, the two boys have successfully recognized their inner calling to help people who are in need. Ever since then they have been committed to their cause and urging numerous organizations and individuals to do the same. Proud partners, they are utterly enthusiastic and strong headed when it comes to their objective.

Not only are Mehta and Hak inclined towards cancer patients but, they have also worked and raised funds for arranging food kits for the needy during lockdown 2020. When the world was busy fighting against the COVID-19 virus, the two teenagers stood up for the economically weak sections and began to provide food kits to them. Even now they have been able to collect a total of 6lacs plus amount to be able to get cancer treatment kits for the patients in Kashmir. Not only that, but Rajveer and Arav have also collaborated back in 2018 and also during Diwali celebrations to collect funds for the children who are diagnosed with cancer. Given their track record of collecting a gross amount of INR 25,25,252 to save cancer patients, they are doing their best to save lives of their fellow citizens and are perhaps different from other people. This initiative was also supported by their friend, Siddharth who worked as hard as the other two. A source of inspiration and knowledge for their fellow friends, Hak and Mehta have come a long way. Their hard work truly paid off when Sanjay Dutt himself and the trustee of the Nargis Dutt Foundation, Priya Dutt appreciated their efforts and saluted them for their selfless deeds.

Together they are going to make this world a better place for all. By recognizing their inner calling and building an optimistic approach towards it, the two teenagers have proved the saying that age is just a number. With adequate commitment and dedication, one can achieve anything they want, if they are fully willing to do so. At a playful age where they are exposed to endless distractions, they choose to be strong headed and solemn. With more and more years to come, they aim at higher goals and better experiences to assist them to do their bit for this world.
