Everything went fine in the beginning but for the few months, life is nothing less than pathetic. My wife is working but her parents have a problem with that. They think I should be financially sound enough to sustain my wife. She, however, is not willing to leave her job too. To add to my woes, now even my parents are forcing me to make her leave her job. Every now and then, there is a quarrel with no reason between my wife and parents. In this all of mess, I'm the one stuck between loyalties.

Dear Ashwin,
Good heavens! Your parents as well as her folks are behaving odd. When your wife has no qualms working, why do the rest? You seem to be caught in the drama. All this is so unwanted. Your wife needs to tell both the parties concerned that she is working because she wants to be economically independent. It is not that you can't earn enough to sustain her. Once this is clear to both, there is no reason why your people or hers should say anything. So the faster she opens her mouth the better it will be for you.u00a0
Diana will solve it!
