My best friend's 19 year-old-daughter has become a source of concern for me thanks to her weird behaviour. I've always considered her my daughter as I myself have a 14 year-old-daughter who is also friendly with her. I also admire her a lot because of her academic excellence and good nature. But of late I am observing that she has developed a tendency to touch me inappropriately every possible opportunity she gets. Needless to say, I'm worried as I not only dislike the way she's treating me but also I don't want to jeopardise my childhood friendship thanks to her hormones. Suggest a way out.

Dear Bryan,
Yours is indeed a strange and rare case. I really wonder how your daughter reacts when she sees her flirting with you. It will surely affect their friendship? Maybe you are assuming too much about her physical mannerisms. Many people touch the other person when talking. Best is to ignore her. Chances are that it is nothing and you are reading too much into it. Or if she is hellbent on getting touchy feely, you need to back off. Whatever her intentions, remember you will be in big trouble. So better to be safe, than sorry.u00a0
Diana will solve it!
