The 2005 report from a team of psychologists in Chicago and Toronto caused outrage as it apparently suggested bisexual men were actually gay men who were too afraid to come out.
But a team of Northwestern University scientists has found that these people are attracted to both sexes, reports the Daily Mail. u00a0 They found bisexual men were physically aroused when watching both adult films of two men having sex and two women having sex, while their peers were not. u00a0 The researchers measured sexual arousal with physical measurements, while subjective arousal was through a self-report, according to Dr Catharine Paddock at Medical News Today. u00a0 The results showed that for bisexual men "their arousal responses to their less arousing sex tended to be higher than those of homosexual and heterosexual men." u00a0 The researchers added that bisexual's preference for men and women could change back and forth over time. u00a0 The finding will be published in the journal Biological Psychology.u00a0
