The content kitchens of TikTok and Instagram have been working overtime to provide locked-down users across the world some food for thought with unusual and innovative culinary trends. From pasta chips to the tortilla wrap hack, these are some of the food trends that reigned social media in 2021:
That's a wrap
If you are among those looking to jazz up your regular roti, the tortilla wrap hack is god-sent. Although it's originally meant for tortillas, your average roti or paratha - some even tried dosas - work as well. Spread out the roti, place your fillings of choice in four quadrants of the flatbread, make a small horizontal slit on one quadrant, and fold it all till it comes together as a triangular wrap. There you have it - a spill-free wrap.
