In yesterday's report ('Item girls being used to smuggle in drugs to 31st bashes), MiD DAY had published that drug dealers have now started targeting unsuspecting celebrities to transport the contraband to their clients at five star hotels and upmarket party venues for the New Year's Eve.
"Even the celebrities should be frisked. Any reveller or a celebrity carrying banned item inside the party venues must be immediately reported to the cops deployed at the venue by the organisers," said Pratap Dighavkar, DCP, Zone IX.
