David Headley may have passed on info gathered during meeting with 5 men who conducted business, smuggling through water

A few months before last year's terror attacks, David Headley had met a few men who could've shared knowledge about the sea route that the terrorists eventually took to reach Mumbai on November 26.

Intelligence sources say those people are in the business of transporting fuel through water routes.

Headley met three people at a hotel on Mohammad Ali Road through a person he knew. The mediator was deported from Mumbai to Singapore three years ago, but has been a regular visitor to the city with his uncle.

The man used to help in the smuggling of fake currency through water.

"The three men, the mediator, his uncle and Headley were present at the meeting. The men also took him to various locations in Mumbai like Mazagaon that line the sea.

Terror Trawler: MV Kuber was used by ten 26/11 terrorists, including Ajmal Qasab, to enter Mumbai.

We're investigating if they had helped Headley by sharing knowledge regarding sea routes," said the source.

MiD DAY has names of all the men Headley met, but they cannot be disclosed, as investigations are on.

Sources said it would be too early to say if Headley had carried a recce or passed on the information to the terrorists.

All investigating agencies have been keeping a watch on the activities of the five men and also questioned people related to them.

Meeting B'wood

It's been alleged that David Headley met several Bollywood actors through Moksh gym where he used to work out.

While his association with Rahul Bhatt has been confirmed, the names of Aarti Chhabria, Kangana Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi have also cropped up. They have all denied knowing or meeting Headley.
