Forensic lab experts have confirmed that the bullets found in Dey's body were fired from the gun recovered from the accused."
Patil added that even though there were previous red corner notices issued against Rajan, a fresh global notice was to be issued in view of his significant role in the killing of Dey.
Replying to BJP MLA Gopal Shetty's question raised during the session, Patil said, "Since Rajan was the main conspirator, the police will name both Rajan and his associates as the main culprits in the case."
Patil also told the Assembly that Industries Minister Narayan Rane was to head a committee to work out the legislation and would submit its report within a month's time.
