The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained
A major fire broke out at Malad's Pathanwadi area on Friday evening. The incident took place around 6 pm at Aman marble company located in Pathanwadi. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
According to sources, the incident was reported to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), following which, a team of firefighters, local police, and BMC staff were rushed to the spot. While the firefighters extinguished the fire, people living near the area were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
According to officials, the reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
