According to the IO of the case S D Hanchate of Saki Naka police station, the accused was summoned to appear before the police on Tuesday.
"We arrested him after he came to the police station," he added. "We will produce him to the Andheri court today."
Meanwhile the police is silent over the FIR lodged against Shrivastava. "Since this is a technical matter we cannot say anything now, it may be an outcome of the infighting going on in the school management," Hanchate said.
