Asian Heart Institute doctor, Ashish Contractor, who has been supervising PM's cardiac rehabilitation process, will return to Mumbai tonight, spoke to MiD DAY about the PM's steady recovery.

"Two members of our team will continue to stay with the PM to assist rehabilitation. The process will take three months, but it is going slightly better than expected. The PM has begun meeting his close aides, but his activity is still restricted. We are very happy with his progress."

Singh underwent an 11-hour coronary repeat bypass surgery last month led by Mumbai's Dr Ramakant Panda.
