Post 26/11, businessman Amit Lall travelled across the length and breadth of India, battled several obstacles and spread the message of humanity
While the entire city came out to light candles to protest the 26/11 terror attacks, businessman Amit Lall made his own resolve to spread the message of national unity in every nook and corner of India. He set off on his mission on January 26 and will return to Mumbai tomorrow after 118 days.

"I had started my mission to spread the message of unity, peace and humanity with the title Mission Possible and I'm glad I've made it 'Mission Accomplished.' It has been a great experience so far," Lall told MiD DAY from Ahmedabad. He will leave for Baroda this morning and visit Surat before returning home.
"I have been to each and every corner of our country. I have met all types of people and tried to motivate them for the cause of humanity. My main intention has been to spread the message of 'Jai Hind' and not 'Jai Maharashtra' or some other state," explained Lall.u00a0
No to war
According to Lall, people of our country only want 'Roti Kapda aur Makaan'. No one is interested in war and violence. He also noticed during the 30-odd days he spent in the northeast, that the states are miserably underdeveloped. During the course of his journey, Lall even spent time with the NSG commandos who fought the terrorists for over 60 hours during the terror attacks.
Tough times
Lall also faced some tough times during his 28-state journey. Once, his car got stuck in the snow, while some other time it broke down. In Manipur, he was surrounded by a group of people, who by their looks, appeared to be terrorists. They even had prior knowledge about his visit. Luckily for him, they did not cause too much trouble and let him pass by.
But what shocked him most was his trip to Kashmir. Lall spent seven days near Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and found that people in Kashmir believe they are Kashmiris and not Indians.
Said Lall, "I have struggled and fought my way through several difficult situations. It has been a great learning experience. I will definitely write a book on it."
We are oneLall has also started a community on Facebook called the United Force of India with 300 members. Its aim is to bind people from all over India, irrespective of the city or state they belong to.
