There's more to Ayush Mahesh Khedekar, Azharuddin Mohammed Sheikh and Rubina Qureshi, the three child stars of Slumdog Millionaire, Hong Kong trip for a charity show. Both the event organizers and Cathay Pacific Airways are allegedly claiming to have sponsored the air travel.

A statement issued by Cathay Pacific states that the airline sponsored the tickets, in keeping with Cathay Pacific's continuous efforts in working with charitable organisations to support their causes. Louie Tong, publicist for the Hong Kong-based charity institute Community Chest, took credit too.
Associated Press (AP) quoted Tong as saying that the charity was covering the children's travel expenses and lodging at a luxury hotel, but it was only paying them a small honorarium. She would not reveal the amount.
The three are in Hong Kong for a charity fundraising performance. While they will sing and dance at a live broadcast on Saturday, the trio will also perform at shopping malls in Hong Kong on Sunday on raise funds for Community Chest. A spokesperson for Cathay Pacific said that the airline had sponsored the basic fare of the Mumbai-Hong Kong airfare, while the charitable trust had borne the cost of the taxes.
