A fire broke out at Q-Plaza building in Worli Sunday afternoon, prompting a swift response from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's Mumbai Fire Brigade (BMC's MFB). The fire in Worli, reported at 1451hrs, has been categorized as a Level I.
The fire in Worli was reported by BMC's MFB. Multiple agencies, including the police, Best supply, 108 Ambulance services, and ward staff were mobilized. The incident location is specified as Q-Plaza building, Shiv Sagar Estate, Dr. Annie Bezant Road, near the H P Petrol pump.
The fire, confined to the 5th floor of the multi-storey building that consists of a ground floor and seven upper floors, posed a challenging situation for the firefighting teams. The BMC's MFB declared the incident as Level I at 1523hrs, signifying the severity and complexity of the situation.
There have been no reported injuries as of now. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
