Mumbai on Wednesday recorded 116 new cases of coronavirus and one death due to the infection, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With this, the tally of infections in the city rose to 11,50,033, while the toll reached 19,731.
As per a bulletin issued by the civic body, seven out of 116 patients are symptomatic and have been admitted to a hospital and three of them are on oxygen support. At least 96 patients were undergoing treatment at hospitals in the city.

At least 111 patients recovered from the infection during the day, taking the total number of recoveries to 11,29,616.
Mumbai is currently left with 686 active cases, as per BMC data.
As many as 8,896 swab samples were tested during the day, taking the total number of tests conducted so far to 1,82,95,018, the bulletin said.
