A constable of State Reserve Police Force suffered injuries in his hand after a rifle discharged in Malad area of Mumbai. The details surrounding the shooting still unclear.
Malad Police rushed to the scene, where the injured constable was swiftly transported to Shatabdi Hospital in Kandivali. The jurisdiction of the incident falls under Malad Police, who are currently investigating whether the rifle discharge was accidental or intentional.
Senior officials are present at the scene, coordinating efforts to ascertain the circumstances leading to the shooting.
Officials said that SRPF was deployed in the area in view of Shivaji Jayanti that was observed across the state on Monday.
