Western Railway announced the cancellation of over 2,500 local train services in Mumbai from October 27 to November 5
The Western Railway spokesperson had recently stated that around 359 RPF personnel and 178 GRP personnel, including officers, have been deployed round the clock for crowd regulation at platforms, foot overbridges etc
Meanwhile, there was increase in the ridership of Mumbai Metro due to mega block on the Western line
