Maharashtra is once again at the centre of political turmoil as Shiv Sena's strongman, Eknath Shinde has rebelled and had been camping in Surat with several MLAs from the state untill Tuesday night before they left for Assam. With deepening crisis, security has been increased at Shiv Sena HQ Matoshree. Sanjay Raut on Friday said, "Eknath Shinde faction that's challenging us must realise that Shiv Sena workers are yet to come on the roads. Such battles are fought either through law or on the roads." Eknath Shinde along with other leaders moved from the five-star Surat hotel early on Wednesday to reach Guwahati in Assam. Luxury buses were seen ferrying the political leaders from hotel to the airport.
