The first consignment of the Covishield Vaccine arrived in Mumbai from Pune around 5.30 am on 13th January, confirmed Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation officials. The BMC received a total of 1,39,500 doses of the vaccine from the Serum Institute of India in Pune. It will be delivered across Mumbai to designated vaccination centres for the national inoculation drive, set to begin on 16th January. Watch this video for more.
