There are various views about Anne Boleyn. What's yours?u00a0
She's been polarised, she's either called an angel or a demon depending on those who were her friends and those who weren't. I tried to find the humanity, make her as three-dimensional as I could.u00a0

You wanted to study history, what did you want to specialise in?u00a0
England's medieval period. There were these massive wars known as the Wars of the Roses between Lancester and York, which took place right before Henry VIII came into popularity.

You're working with Jonathan Rhys-Myers who has definitely got his share of female fans, tell us a bit about him.
(Laughs) The casting was very well done, he has a lot of characteristics that Henry VIII did. He's very charismatic and was very good at lifting the morale and entertaining the crew. He's a very funny man and keeps everyone smiling.

People have objected to the sex in The Tudors.
Sex is a timeless thing. We're just haven't seen much of it in period dramas.

Are you familiar with Bollywood?
Yes, I worked with Sonu Sood in A City of Life (a film by Ali Mustafa) in Dubai, there's a massive Indian population there. But India's very much in vogue here right now, especially after Slumdog Millionaire. I'm also reading a book called Shantaram right now.

The Tudors will premiere March 27 on FOX History and Entertainment
