Aeroshow 2009 will be business-driven and the authorities are expecting huge investment in the defense sector in hard times of recession, said defense production secretary Pradeep Kumar.
He told journalists today that Aeroshow will have 300 meetings between Indian and foreign companies and about 140 between Indian companies. A total of 1.25 lakh visitors are expected.
Adequate security arrangements have been made for the show. Dignitaries include 11 air chiefs from different countries, four deputy air chiefs and six defense ministers. 303 foreign companies are taking part in the show.u00a0
Super sonic jets will be displayed at the show. These include 16 F18 and Euro fighters.
