Bollywood actor Bob Christo, best known for his roles as a villain, died in the city yesterday afternoon.
Christo was admitted to Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research on Saturday after he complained of severe chest pain.

Doctors performed an angioplasty, but his condition continued to be critical, following which he died.
The 72-year-old actor of Australian origin had made Bangalore his home for several years. He took a break from Hindi movies eight-years-ago and had recently started working as a Yoga instructor.
He got his first break in Sanjay Khan directed Abdullah in 1980. Following his debut, he has appeared in over 200 movies in the 1980s and 90s, including Mr India, Qurbani, Gumrah and Agneepath. Cristo leaves behind a wife and a son and will be dearly missed by his fans.
